As you know, warriors don’t have a particular leveling spec and yet at the same time they do. I was amazed how fun it is being Protection spec when I was levelling warrior, a lot of WoW players said that this guild cannot be good for leveling warrior because it lacks of damage output. This is type of true against an enemy. But surmise yourself a living fortress, killing 9-10 enemies at a time. I was so excited when doing quests, such as “go there, kill 10 battleboars, run back…”. It took me less than half of minute to kill them all. So sometimes you should think outside the box rather listen to your friend said that leveling Protection Warrior is bad.
At first, please know Warcraft warriors have 3 specs (specializations) to select from.
- Arms – Arms spec is somewhere in the middle and is often considered the more “balanced” warrior spec.
- Fury – This spec is designed around fast hard hitting attacks, with a slight increase in damage you take.
- Protection – This spec is designed around survivability, with a slight decrease in the damage you take.
Roughly for 1-80 level:
Levels 1 – 30: Level as an arms warrior
Levels 30-70: Level as a fury warrior
Levels 70-80: Players choice; fury is still fastest but arms and protection are still fun.
Once you’ve reached level 80 you will have 2 real choices. ARMS and Protection until you are able to acquire good enough gear to make fury viable again.
How to levelling warrior to 80 fastest:
Let me mention another good thing of being Protection all the way up to level 80. As with new “Dungeon Finder” system, you will get parties for all the instances almost instantly.

Leveling Warrior (Protection) – What is the best spell (skill) rotation for levelling warrior?
As a matter of fact, no rotation is the best, because it always depends on situation you are in. Leveling Warrior (Protection) is not as many other classes/specs that is just spamming 2 or 3 spells/skills. It is about reading the situation and reacting properly. Even using all the cool down spells. This makes leveling even more interesting.
